The CO detector on the Climax VESTA is a sensor for the highly toxic carbon monoxide gas and reliably and immediately reports any increase above the natural level to the control center, which then triggers the alarm accordingly. The CO detector is battery-operated and is in radio contact with the alarm system within radio range.
