Acoustic detector: Detects glass breakage by the sound
With the acoustic glass break detector certified to "EN Grade 2" you can monitor larger window fronts. The detector reacts to the specific sound of breaking glass panes. The glass breakage is detected and reported to the alarm center. Everyday noises (clinking of drinking glasses, ball hitting pane, etc.) do not trigger an alarm.

Technology and optimal installation location:
For reliable detection, the detector should look directly at the window area to be monitored. The area of the pane to be monitored should be between 30 x 30 cm and 3 x 3 m. The optimal position is approx. 2 - 3 m away from the glass front. The maximum distance is up to 8 m (depending on the type and thickness of the glass). The effective detection range can be reduced, for example, with burglar-resistant glass and depending on the equipment/decoration on the window (curtains, flowers, internal shutters).

Clear status message, quick installation:
The detector has an LED display that visually signals the colors red (high frequency trigger), green (low frequency trigger) and blue (alarm). The operating voltage is between 9 and 16 V DC. The vibration detector has common resistors and jumpers that save time when wiring to the alarm center and sabotage protection.
