PIR MOTION DETECTOR: EFFECTIVE ROOM MONITORING

Detects the body heat field of living beings using a PIR sensor
The wireless motion detector detects people in its detection area based on their moving body heat field. It uses a passive infrared light sensor (PIR) for this purpose. Unauthorised access is reported directly to the intruder alarm system. If required, the detector can be set to animal-immune to ignore pets under a defined size (weight class) and prevent false alarms.

Safe and reliable: close-meshed monitoring
With an aperture angle of approx. 90 degrees and a detection range of up to 10 metres, a single wireless motion detector monitors even large rooms almost completely. The spherical lens design ensures extremely reliable detection thanks to uniform room coverage. Thanks to integrated creep protection, the detector has no blind spots and also detects people directly below it.

Secure connection, long range
The wireless motion detector is taught into the Secoris wirelessly via the BUS wireless extension (BUMO60030). The connection is protected against manipulation by third parties using a secure, highly encrypted radio procedure. The transmission is AES128 encrypted (security level as in online banking) and protected against so-called replay attacks. The detector offers a high radio range of over 700 m (free field).

Efficient and low-maintenance
The passive detector has a very low power consumption and a battery life of up to 5 years.

Correct installation
The optimum installation location is on the wall or in a corner, approx. 1.80 to 2.40 m above the floor. The expected direction of movement of an intruder should be at right angles to the detector. The viewing angle is approx. 90°, the detection range (depending on installation height) up to 10 x 10 m.
