The AJAX wireless control panel with touch-resistive surface is an accessory for the AJAX HUBs and is used to control the alarm system. The main function of the control panel is to activate and deactivate when entering and leaving the building. Like all other components, the control panel is battery-operated and the normal battery life is around 2 years. The wireless control panel communicates with the control center (the AJAX HUB) via an encrypted wireless protocol and is thus protected against, for example, the code being read. The wireless range outdoors (without obstacles) is up to 1,700 m.
Functional principle:
The device enters security modes when a digital code is entered via the keypad. The display informs about the current security status, problems with detectors or a loss of communication with the hub.
Characteristics:
The system can be set to arm/disarm and partially arm modes using the keypad and PIN code entry. It is also possible to switch individual areas (groups) separately.
