HUB 2 PLUS controls all Ajax devices to alert users to open doors, broken windows, fire hazards, as well as floods. If burglars break into your home, HUB 2 transmits the images from MotionCam detectors and notifies the security company about the danger. You will never have to live under the constant surveillance of security cameras to know what is going on.
HUB 2 PLUS protects large facilities with a large number of rooms and people. With the new powerful processor and increased memory capacity, the functions of the control panel have been expanded: up to 200 detectors can be connected to the HUB 2 and you can add 200 users and create 25 groups for security management.
Five ReX (radio repeaters) can be programmed into the HUB 2 PLUS , allowing a total area of up to 35 square kilometers to be covered.
The AJAX HUB 2 PLUS has a GSM module with two SIM card slots , each supporting 2G, 3G, and 4G (LTE) networks . Now you can use SIM cards from two different providers without any communication errors. The HUB instantly switches between 2G, 3G, and 4G (LTE) networks . If one SIM card does not respond, the second one is automatically activated.
Communication channels
The AJAX HUB 2 PLUS is the absolute market leader in terms of the number of communication channels: the control panel can be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, WCDMA and GSM. Together, these functions ensure an extremely stable connection and instant sending of alarms to the owner's smartphone and to the monitoring center.
The AJAX HUB 2 PLUS allows the use of a redundant Internet connection , as the central unit is connected to networks of two independent communication providers: on the one hand to a main connection via Ethernet, on the other hand to an emergency network via Wi-Fi. If the connection of one provider fails, the HUB 2 PLUS remains connected and continues to monitor the situation at the site.
HUB 2 Plus now has a WiFi module, so there is no need to lay a cable to connect to the router. The control panel is ready to use immediately. Setup is done via the mobile application and the detectors are connected with a single click. The device can be mounted in a few minutes using the SmartBracket mount.
Installing HUB 2 PLUS takes just a few minutes. Connect to the Internet and plug in the power cable. Then scan the QR code with the Ajax app. In most cases, your devices do not need to be configured additionally. HUB 2 PLUS will work as soon as the system is online.
