Early motion detection is what you get when you use this AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor HighMount PhoD motion detector with photo camera especially for outdoor use.
With the AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor HighMount PhoD, you will be able to detect unwanted visitors before they have broken a window or door and are already inside your home. In other words, with the AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor HighMount PhoD you prevent actual break-ins because the siren sounds before the burglar can approach your home.
The quality of the photos can be set in 3 quality levels (resolutions). The maximum resolution is 640×352 pixels. Resolutions of 160×120 and 320×240 are also possible. The higher the pixel resolution, the longer it may take for the first image to be displayed on the smartphone after an alarm resolution.
With good reception of the AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor HighMount PhoD, the times for receiving the photo are up to 7 seconds at the lowest resolution and 9 to 20 seconds at the highest resolution. Regardless of the images, the alarm is always forwarded within 0.15 seconds. The standard photo resolution of 320×240 with a duration of up to 9 seconds is sufficient to determine what is going on in your garden. Naturally, the camera is equipped with infrared night vision to provide a good overview of the situation even in complete darkness.
ANTI Masking
The AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor HighMount is a wireless outdoor motion detector with masking and false trigger protection. It is connected to the AJAX security system via the Jeweller security protocol and has a range of up to 1,700 metres if there are no obstacles. The detector can be operated for up to 5 years with the pre-installed batteries or via an external power source. Photo transmission is via the wireless Wings signal, which is available with the Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus. If you use this detector or want to do so in the future, always choose one of these hubs.
