With the AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor, you are able to detect unwanted visitors before they have broken open a window or door and are already in your house. In other words, with the MotionCAM Outdoor, you prevent actual break-ins because the siren sounds before the burglar can approach your house.

The quality of the photos can be set to 3 quality levels (resolutions). The maximum resolution is 640×352 pixels. Resolutions of 160×120 and 320×240 are also possible. The higher the pixel resolution, the longer it can take for the first image to be displayed on the smartphone after an alarm is triggered.

If the detector has good reception, the times for receiving the photo are up to 7 seconds at the lowest resolution and 9 to 20 seconds at the highest resolution. Regardless of the images, the alarm is always forwarded within 0.15 seconds. The standard photo resolution of 320×240 with a duration of up to 9 seconds is enough to determine what is going on in your garden. Of course, the camera is equipped with infrared night vision to have a good overview of the situation even in total darkness.

ANTI-Masking

The AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor is a wireless outdoor motion detector with masking and false alarm protection. It connects to the AJAX security system via the Jeweller security protocol and has a range of up to 1,700 meters if there are no obstacles.

The AJAX MotionCAM Outdoor can operate for up to 5 years using the pre-installed batteries or an external power source. Photo transmission is done via the wireless Wings signal, which is available on the Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus. If you use this detector or plan to do so in the future, always choose one of these hubs.

Only responds to real threats

To completely rule out false alarms, the LISA two-factor digital algorithm is used. It analyzes the similarity of the motion signal from two sensors and then starts a spectral image test. As a result, MotionProtect Outdoor does not react to animals, tree and plant branches or events caused by gusts of wind, garbage and leaves, birds and insects that land on the sensor.
