The AJAX DoorProtect PLUS (set of 3, black) is a wireless opening detector for monitoring door and window openings with a reed contact, designed for over a million openings. The device has a connection for an external sensor. It is connected to the Ajax security system via the protected "Jeweller" protocol. The wireless range is up to 1200 m without obstacles. The included battery has a service life of up to 5 years and is intended for indoor use.
The AJAX DoorProtect PLUS comes with two magnets, one small and one large, with respective ranges of 1 cm and 2 cm. The magnet is to be attached to the moving part of the door (window), to the right of the sensor. If necessary, the sensor can be positioned horizontally.
The AJAX DoorProtect PLUS is connected to the hub and configured using the Ajax Security System mobile application. Place the sensor within the range of the hub network and follow the setup instructions.
The opening detector has an integrated temperature sensor and transmits the room temperature at the location to the app.
In addition to the standard opening detector, the DoorProtect Plus has additional features:
It registers changes in the vertical angle of inclination, shocks and vibrations.
The DoorProtect PLUS opening detector also protects windows that are left open for ventilation. The accelerometer registers changes in the vertical angle of inclination, impacts or vibrations and sends an alarm to the hub.
If detection of opening by means of a reed contact is not required, use only the electronic unit (without magnets) and deactivate the magnetic sensor in the settings.
The tilt sensor detects deviations of the device greater than 5° from the vertical. "DoorProtect Plus" can be mounted on windows and even on roof windows. The AJAX system can be armed by setting the windows to the ventilation position (the magnetic sensor must be temporarily disabled in these settings).
