Abus is presenting its new wireless security system “Comfion” at Light + Building. Security is the top priority - but smart home scenarios make the system convenient. It can be designed individually by the installer and end customer depending on their requirements.
“Simply make it safe” – that’s a fitting title for the Comfion radio system from Abus: It places emphasis on easy installation and operation, its radio components are EN Grade 2 certified, the radio is AES128 encrypted with a long range and it makes it possible Deeply integrated scenarios with lighting, heating and roller shutter control. The system can be set up and operated via an intuitive app or the specialist installer portal and is designed for 160 devices, 50 users, 40 partitions and 100 scenarios. Video recording with up to four cameras on an SD card or four-channel NVR directly in the control center is offered, with the integration of deeply integrated Abus Professional Line cameras. A control center protocol is integrated to commission security services (SIA DC-09). An integrated mobile radio module (2G/3G/4G) is used for fail-safe communication. Alarming and remote access is also possible without an internet connection at the location and you always have all the information at hand: notifications either via SMS, email or push message.
Video until access
The indoor motion detector doesn't just monitor areas. The motion detector with integrated PIR cam provides snapshots in the event of an alarm or when triggered manually. The images are sent either via push or email. For extra privacy, the camera can also be easily deactivated via the Comfion app.
Video data is stored directly on the integrated network recorder in the Comfion headquarters. Up to four surveillance cameras can be integrated into the system. Abus offers cameras from the Professional Line that are deeply integrated into the system.
The access control system wApploxx Pro Plus avoids false alarms. The security system can be armed and disarmed directly at the door. To do this, the wApploxx Control for the wApploxx cylinder is conventionally connected to the I/O module. The module is already preconfigured by Abus, so no further setup is required.
Video surveillance is deeply integrated at Comfion. Surveillance cameras can be easily installed in the alarm system via an app or web browser. Integrated into a scenario, the camera can also trigger an alarm directly. The user benefits from professional video streams with highlights such as color images even at night or the ability to address perpetrators directly.
Surveillance cameras from the Abus Professional Line can be easily integrated into the system. Complicated settings such as port sharing are not necessary due to the peer-to-peer connection. All video data is stored on the integrated NVR directly in the Comfion headquarters.
For specialist installers ONLY
All Abus professional products can be managed in the Abus cloud. Here you have an overview of all installed systems, can carry out software updates or view error messages such as battery warnings.
The Comfion app offers the option of configuring the security system intuitively and completely. In addition, the system can also be operated via the app as long as the end user has given the installer permission to do so.
