Assign new access code and/or user name for Level 4 users, installers, administrators and normal users | change existing code

To change your known code and/or user name, e.g. to access the corresponding menu or mode, in the respective access level:
- as a normal user or administrator in the (advanced) user menu
- as installer in installer mode
- as a Level 4 user in the Level 4 options

Appropriate principles and standards support the correct handling of access data for logging into security systems.
Administrator or Normal User
- Log in as an administrator or normal user , e.g. using the Secvest web interface .
- Go to (Advanced) User Menu > Users .
This will bring up the “User” screen .
- If necessary: Enter a new user name under “User Name” or “Administrator Name” with a maximum of 12 characters.
- Under “User Code” or “Administrator Code” enter a new code that contains the same number of digits as the old code (4 digits or 6 digits).
- Enter the new code again in the “Confirm new code” field.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
- Exit the (Advanced) User Menu.
Installer
- Log in as an installer , e.g. using the Secvest web interface .
- Go to Installer Mode > System > Installer Details .
This will bring up the Installer Details screen.
- If necessary: Enter a new user name under “Installer Name” with a maximum of 12 characters.
- Under “Installer Code” enter a new code that contains the same number of digits as the old code (4 or 6 digits).
- Enter the new code again in the “Confirm new code” field.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
- Exit the installer mode.
Level 4 users
- Log in as a Level 4 user using the Secvest web interface.
This will bring up the “Level 4 User Options” screen.
- Click the “Level 4 User Details” button.
This will open a mask.
- If necessary: Enter a new user name under “Level 4 User Name” with a maximum of 12 characters.
- For “Level 4 User Code” enter a new code that contains the same number of digits as the old code (4 digits or 6 digits).
- Enter the new code again in the “Confirm new code” field.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
- Exit the Level 4 User Options.
