# Secvest Touch wireless alarm system (FUAA50500)

As an administrator , you can determine whether and how loudly the Secvest provides acoustic feedback:
- when using the local user interface .
- for information, e.g. if there is a fault.
- in case of alarm.
In addition, you determine:
- the “Language Volume” for e.g. the message “Please note the information in the display”.
- at what volume the alarm center plays spoken messages to users = “Message Volume”.
As a normal user , you can determine whether a quiet “click sound” (= key sound) should be heard each time the keys are touched.
requirements
In order to adjust the volume of the Secvest, the following requirements must be met:
- The Secvest has been put into operation .
- The code (and optionally: the user name for the web interface) of an administrator .
To activate or deactivate the Secvest key tone, the following requirements must be met:
- The Secvest has been put into operation.
- The code (and optionally: the user name for the web interface) of a normal user .
Key tone (“click tone”)
- Log in as a normal user or administrator , e.g. using the Secvest local user interface .
- Go to the path (Advanced) User Menu > System Configuration > Features On/Off > Key Tones by navigating there with the arrow keys and the confirmation keys .
- Select “Off” to deactivate the “click sound” (= key sound).
volume
- Log in as administrator, e.g. using the Secvest local user interface.
- Go to the path Advanced User Menu > Configuration > Volume Settings by navigating with the arrow keys and the confirmation keys.
The numbers 0-9 indicate the volume of the corresponding tones, where 0 means silent and 9 means maximum volume.
- Select the sounds whose volume you want to adjust:
- Operating tones
- Info tones
- Alarm tones
- Language Volume
- Message Volume
- Adjust the volume: “ + ” means louder and “ – ” means quieter.
Notice
For safety reasons, we recommend leaving the alarm tones at the setting “9” .
With a lower value (= quieter alarm), people on site may not notice the alarm or may notice it too late.
