Stop the alarm by deactivating the alarm center
# Secvest Touch wireless alarm system (FUAA50500)
Reading time: approx. 1 minute
- First: Get an idea of the situation when the alarm goes off.
- Make sure you know what caused the alarm, e.g. burglary or incorrect operation.
- Only when the situation has been clarified is it recommended: Deactivate the Secvest , e.g.
- by entering a valid user code either on the local user interface or on a wireless control unit …
- or press the Open Lock button on the radio remote control …
- or press the Open Lock button within the Secvest app .
This will stop the acoustic signal.
info
If the “System Auto Reactivate” function is enabled, the Secvest automatically activates the zones or detectors and triggers an alarm again as soon as a zone or detector detects a change.
After deactivating the Secvest, the display of the alarm control panel shows the direct cause of the alarm for one minute.
Example
The message “T2: Burglary Z202 Alarm MK Kitchen” means:
In sub-area 2 (= T2), the kitchen magnetic contact (= MK Kitchen) has detected a change.
As a result, the corresponding zone 202 (= Z202) has triggered a burglary alarm (= burglary … alarm)
- If the corresponding factory setting has not been changed: Reset the alarm on the alarm panel by selecting “Reset” .
As long as you ignore the reset (= select “Exit”), it is not possible to activate the Secvest.
Every time you try to activate the alarm panel, the message “Reset?” appears again.
info
If the “Forced activation” function is set to “Confirm” or “On”, a user can activate the system with the Secvest radio remote control, even without a prior reset.
A "System Sabotage" alarm (= housing cover opened or housing removed from the wall or wired siren disconnected or jamming or supervision if the "Sabotage" setting is selected there) can only be reset by the installer using the installer code .
- In the event of an alarm , e.g. due to incorrect operation : If necessary, inform the emergency call and service control center (NSL), the nursing service, the medical service or private individuals who automatically receive messages with an alarm.
You can find out here which four types of alarm and which causes of alarm the Secvest distinguishes between and when which alarm devices react.
