How to control your LUPUS Smarthome via Amazon Alexa
# LUPUS SMARTHOME, AMAZON ALEXA
Reading time: approx. 5 minutes (for all variants)
To use Alexa with your XT, you need at least firmware version 2.17Z B
- Open your Alexa account via Alexa app or web browser
- Search for the skill “LUPUSEC”
- You will find two skills:
LUPUSEC Smarthome (for controlling smart home devices
LUPUSEC Alarm (for controlling the alarm function) - Click on “ACTIVATE”
- You will now be asked to enter the account details of your account on www.lupus-electronics.de:
- After logging in, click “Allow”:
The following message will then appear in the browser:
- Now log in to your LUPUESC alarm system and open the menu “Settings” → “Device Integration” → “Alexa Service”
Enter your DDNS address and your external port here. The external port has been configured in the router and must be forwarded to the internal port 443 of the alarm system - Click on “Connect”. You will now be asked again to enter your LUPUS account details.
Click “Allow”. “Operation completed” will appear. - “Connected” now appears in the menu:
