ABUS Secvest - proximity chip key

The proximity key is an optional accessory for contactless (arming/disarming) switching of alarm control panels and replaces the code entry. This ensures the unique authentication of the user on the alarm system.

Easy handling:
To activate or deactivate, simply hold the chip in front of the control panel or the control unit. The user no longer has to remember a PIN code, which makes authorization (authentication) on the system much easier. It is used for simple, convenient activation and deactivation of the ABUS alarm systems Secvest and Terxon.

Installation and programming:
The chip key is programmed into the alarm control panel, and the authorization is then programmed directly on the control panel. The proximity key receives the voltage for code transmission from the receiver's radio field; it does not require its own battery
