Wherever there are combustion devices in the home such as open fireplaces, gas boilers, instantaneous water heaters, oil heaters, etc., the invisible, odorless and deadly gas carbon monoxide can occur. The symptoms of poisoning range from headaches and dizziness to unconsciousness and death. The ABUS COWM300 is designed to detect this gas - it sounds the alarm even at low but still harmful CO concentrations in the room air with an 85 dBA alarm tone and a visual warning display. Equipped with an electrochemical sensor with a 7-year service life, the COWM300, which is tested according to EN50291-1, is suitable for both wall and floor mounting. The product also has a battery indicator as well as a test and mute function. The built-in maximum value memory provides information on whether a CO alarm has been triggered while you were away. Thanks to its unobtrusive and timeless design, the COWM300, which is powered by a 9V block battery, can be discreetly integrated into living spaces.
