Panic Alarm
A hold-up alarm is a special part of a hold-up alarm system. Hold-up alarms are push buttons in a mobile, i.e. portable, or permanently installed version. The push button is there so that threatened people can call for help discreetly, unnoticed by the attacker and without detours by pressing the button. Pressing the push button triggers an immediate alarm. According to VdS, however, this can only be triggered manually, by pressing it with the hand or feet. A clearly identifiable pressure point is available for this purpose.
