RFID
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID, German identification using electromagnetic waves) is a battery-free or battery-operated component to which information is encoded. Packaged goods can be read using an RFID chip. E.g. All boxes on a Euro pallet can be pushed through a gate. Using RFID, you can determine exactly which goods are packed on the pallet within a few seconds.
