Expand your Raspberry Pi-based network solution with the option to be powered directly from your gateway's Ethernet port. No separate power supply is required! This feature is particularly useful for applications that use wired network connectivity.

RAK9003 PoE Pi Hat is an add-on board in Raspberry PI form factor that plugs directly into a Raspberry PI. RAK9003 PoE Pi Hat allows powering the Raspberry Pi over a standard CAT 5 Ethernet cable.

RAK9003 PoE Pi Hat is compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), it is compatible with both PoE Mode A and Mode B. The RAK9003 PoE Pi Hat signature and control circuit provides the PoE AT compatibility signature and power classification required by the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) before supplying the port with up to 30W of power. The RAK9003 PoE Pi Hat is compatible with Class 0 to Class 4 devices. The high-efficiency DC/DC converter operates over a wide input voltage range and delivers a regulated output with low ripple and noise. The DC/DC converter also has integrated overload and short circuit protection on the output.
