RAK12007 is an ultrasonic sensor module based on the CS100, an industrial-grade chip for ultrasonic distance measurement. This chip integrates an ultrasonic transmitter, an ultrasonic receiver and digital processing circuits. The result of the distance measurement is output in the form of pulse widths.
An ultrasonic detector consists of two main parts: a transmitter and a detector. The transmitter sends out an ultrasonic wave, and the detector receives the signal from the transmitter reflected from an object. By calculating the travel time and the speed of sound, the distance of the object can be determined.
