The Dragino LDDS04 is a LoRaWAN 4-channel distance sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is able to add up to four ultrasonic sensors to measure four distances simultaneously.

The LDDS04 can be used in scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can management system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, groundwater level monitoring, etc.

It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor and transmits the value wirelessly to the LoRaWAN IoT server.

The LoRa radio technology used in the LDDS04 enables the device to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides extremely long range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity while consuming minimal power.

LDDS04 is powered by an 8500 mA Li-SOCI2 battery and is designed for long-term use of up to 10 years*.

Each LDDS04 is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the LDDS04 will automatically connect when powered on if there is network coverage.
