The Dragino DS03A-LB/LS is a LoRaWAN door sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It detects the opening/closing status of the door and connects to the IoT server via the LoRaWAN network. The user can view the door status, See opening duration and the number of openings on the IoT server.

The LoRa radio technology used in the DS03A-LB/LS enables the device to transmit data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides extremely long range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity and minimal power consumption.

The DS03A-LB/LS sends data regularly every 2 hours and every time the door is opened/closed. It also counts the door opening times and calculates the duration of the last door opening. The user can also disable the uplink for each opening/closing event, instead the DS03A-LB/LS counts each opening event and sends the uplink periodically.

The DS03A-LB/LS supports datalog function. It can store the data when there is no LoRaWAN network and uplink when the network is restored.

DS03A-LB/LS has the door open alarm function. User can set this function so that the device will send an alarm when the door has been open for a certain period of time.

DS03A-LB/LS is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery for operation in low to high temperatures.

DS03A-LB/LS supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update, which makes it easier for users to use.

DS03A-LB/LS is powered by 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered + Li-on battery and is designed for long-term use up to 5 years.

Each DS03A-LB/LS is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, which are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and automatically connect after power-on.
