Dragino CPL03-LS is a LoRaWAN contact sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It detects the dry contact status, opening time and number of openings, and then uploads the data to the IoT server via LoRaWAN wireless protocol.

The CPL03-LS sends data regularly every day and every time the dry contact is actuated. It also counts the contact opening times and calculates the duration of the last opening. The user can also disable the uplink for each opening/closing event, instead the device can count each opening event and send the uplink periodically.

The LoRa radio technology used in the CPL03-LS enables the device to transmit data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides extremely long range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity while consuming minimal power.

CPL03-LS supports open alarm function, user can set open alarm for instant notification. CPL03-LS supports datalog function, can save the data when there is no LoRaWAN network, and uplink when the network is restored.

CPL03-LS is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery to operate in low to high temperatures.

CPL03-LS supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update, which makes it easier for users to use.

CPL03-LS is solar powered and has a lithium-ion battery designed for long-term use of up to 5 years.

Each CPL03-LS is pre-installed with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the connection is established automatically after power-on.
