Dual detector: 2 sensors, double protection
The motion detector, which is certified according to "EN Grade 2", has a PIR and microwave sensor. The combination of passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW) offers a high level of security against false alarms: an alarm is only triggered when both sensors detect movement using separate detection methods. The PIR sensor reacts to moving heat, the microwave sensor actively monitors the environment (Doppler effect). With the MW transmission frequency of 24.15 GHz, the detector can be used in all EU countries. Optionally, only one type of monitoring can be activated.

Optional PET immunity: For your beloved pet
Optional "animal immune" function, adjustable in 3 levels: distinguishes between humans and animals. Moving people are reliably detected, pets weighing up to 15 kg are ignored. In rare cases, however, a lighter animal can trigger the detector, e.g. if it runs, jumps or flies close to the detector. Configuring the PET function on the detector simplifies planning, installation and storage.

Technology and installation
Installation location: in the corner, approx. 1.80 to 2.40 m above the floor, as perpendicular as possible to the expected direction of travel of an intruder. The viewing angle is approx. 90 degrees, the detection range (depending on the installation height) is up to 12 x 12 m. The spherical lens design ensures even room coverage and very reliable detection. Thanks to the creep protection, the detector has no blind spots and can also detect people directly underneath. You can use a jumper to set the detector's sensitivity: the number of pulses detected before the alarm relay opens. You can use a potentiometer to continuously adjust the range of the microwave. With its integrated, common resistance combinations, configurable using a jumper, wiring to the alarm center is quick and easy.
