The Xevox Eco motion detector is a passive infrared motion detector with a PIR sensor. It reacts to any type of heat movement and reports this to the alarm center.
The optimal installation location is directly in a corner, between 2-3 meters above the ground. The possible direction of movement should be perpendicular to the detector. All locations opposite heat sources (e.g. heaters) or a window are unsuitable for installation. Also do not install your motion detector in the immediate vicinity of power cables, gas pipes or electronic devices that generate heat when used for long periods.
The viewing angle of the Xevox Eco motion detector is 90 degrees, and the detection range is up to 15 x 15 meters depending on the installation height. You can change the sensitivity of the detector using a jumper. This allows you to determine the number of pulses that must be detected before the detector opens the alarm relay.
