The JA-188J wall button is designed for panic or emergency alarm. It is also used as a remote control for arming/disarming the JA-100 or for operating other devices.
The product has a tamper contact and the Jablotron 100 control panel monitors the battery status. The system's reaction to the button press can be selected. The basic reaction is the panic alarm or arming / disarming the home alarm system.
