SATEL - GSM-X LTE (4G)

GSM-X LTE offers extended functionality in the field of communication and support of its various channels. The device is equipped with a cellular phone that supports data transmission in LTE* technology.

This module can be used to implement monitoring in alarm systems. To this end, it uses the connection via the dialer of any alarm center or one of its appropriately configured outputs.

An important feature of the device is the possibility of expanding it with the Ethernet module GSM-X-ETH, which allows monitoring to be carried out in two independent ways (data transmission via cellular network* and Ethernet). The constant monitoring of the status of the connections with the control center and the interchangeability of the transmission channels mean that the strict requirements of the EN 50136 standard in the area of so-called dual path reporting are met.

GSM-X LTE allows notifications to be sent to 8 telephone numbers – this can be done in different ways: via voice messages, SMS or PUSH messages or possibly CLIP service.

The module provides comprehensive operation with the INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus control panels. Connected to the RS-232 port of the control panel, it will perform reporting and notification (in the case of the INTEGRA Plus control panels, the SMS content is based directly on the event list). It also enables remote parameterization of these control panels via a computer with the DLOADX program installed and management of alarm systems using the GUARDX program.

The device can completely replace an analogue telephone line by operating as a backup connection channel. If the line is not accessible, it forwards the voice messages to the cellular network. In the case of PBX telephone systems, it can operate as an additional external line.

GSM-X LTE is equipped with 4 programmable outputs that can be controlled remotely using SMS, CLIP, DTMF, GX CONTROL mobile app or GX Soft configuration program. This allows it to be used to remotely control an alarm system or other devices.

Parameterization and configuration is carried out via a computer with the GX Soft program installed. The connection to the module can be made locally (USB port) or remotely (data transfer via mobile network* / Ethernet**).

Remote updating of the device (its firmware) is possible thanks to operation with the update server UpServ.

The built-in cellular phone has two slots for Nano SIM cards. If there is no connection to the operator's network of the first card, the module automatically switches to the second card to maintain constant communication.
